The B&B Ai Tre Ponti & Al Rio Nuovo is in downtown Venice, just around the corner from Piazzale Roma and Tronchetto, where you'll find garages and ferry docks. The Bed and Breakfast is just a short walk from the Venice Santa Lucia train station.
Jump right into the maze of this city's streets, perhaps stopping for drinks at Campo Santa Margherita: in the inviting atmosphere of this square, so pleasantly far from the usual city bustle, you'll find typical bars, restaurants and pubs stay open late for the local IUAV and Ca’ Foscari university crowds. This exciting downtown haunt is also home to a characteristic fish and herb market. Not far away you'll find the enchanting Ponte dell'Accademia and art gallery of the same name with its Venetian painting exhibit. Continuing on to Punta della Dogana you'll find the new Modern Art Center with a collection by François Pinault.
Also near the Bed & Breakfast Ai Tre Ponti & Al Rio Nuovo is the Venice tourist port for cruise ships and ferries to Greece and Croatia. The expo center at the Stazione Marittima also holds events like the Festival del Mare, a leading nautical expo.
How to get here
From Piazzale Roma: this is the car and bus terminal: once you get off the bus/taxi or having parked in one of the garages, exit the square heading towards the Cassa di Risparmio bank; after you pass the bank, turn right and follow the canal on your left. Our reception is 50 meters away.
From the Venice Santa Lucia train station: exit the station and follow the Grand Canal on your right. Pass the new Calatrava bridge, that will lead you to the Piazzale Rome Bus terminal. Cross the entire square to the opposite side, keeping the Cassa Di Risparmio bank to your left. Follow the directions under “From Piazzale Roma”.
Venice Marco Polo airport: you'll find the ATVO line bus for Venice/Piazzale Roma at the exit which takes about 15 minutes to get to Venice or take Bus 5 which takes about 25 minutes. As an alternative, you can take a taxi.
Treviso Canova airport: at the exit, take the ATVO bus for Venice/Piazzale Roma which takes about 40 minutes to reach Venice.
By car: after the bridge to Venice, park at the Terminal Park in Piazzale Roma, where you'll find two large garages: the Town and San Marco garages. Exit the garage and cross Piazzale Rome to the opposite side where you'll find the Cassa di Risparmio bank. Follow the directions under “From Piazzale Roma”.
